Privacy
ProtractorLab is designed to keep image measurement on your device.
Local image processing
Images you upload, paste or capture are decoded and processed by your browser. The application does not send them to a server. Images are not placed in the service-worker cache.
Local storage
The site stores your theme preference and, when you explicitly enable workspace saving, non-image settings and measurement coordinates in localStorage. Images are not permanently stored. Use “Clear local data” in Advanced settings or your browser’s site-data controls to remove stored settings.
Camera permission
Camera access is requested only after you press Start camera. Video is used locally and microphone access is never requested. Camera tracks stop when you stop the camera, leave camera mode, hide the page or close the page.
Sensor permission
On compatible devices, phone-level mode requests orientation access after you enable it. Readings are processed locally and are not transmitted.
Analytics
Analytics are disabled by default. This static release includes no analytics script, tracking pixel, advertising network or remote image-processing service.
Contact and changes
This temporary project does not collect contact information. If a future operator adds analytics or another service, this page should be updated before deployment.
